Nova Chocolates Terms and Conditions
Nova Chocolates takes great pride in the quality of their chocolates and of the service provided to our customers. These are the terms and conditions of sale and use. Please read through these carefully before you use this website. By using this website you signify that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Nova Chocolates are NOT suitable for nut allergy sufferers. They are produced in an atmosphere which handles nuts which means that even chocolates without nuts in them may contain traces of nut.

All chocolates will have an ingredients and use by label on them when they are dispatched. If you, or the recipient, have any dietary problems or allergies then please check this carefully when your chocolates arrive. This is the purchasers responsibility. Nova Chocolates will not accept responsibilty for any problems caused by allergies or dietary needs.
All payments are processed via paypal. This allows our customers maximum online security. You will receive an email confirmation of your order.
We do not store your personal banking details and we do not sell or pass on your details to other companies. We do not sell or pass on your contact details and we will only store your contact details if you choose to be added to our customer list and informed of special offers, seasonal items or competitions. To be added to our customer list please fill in the form on the 'Contact Us' page.
Nova Chocolates reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice. However, the price displayed on the website when you place your order is the price that you will pay regardless of any imminent price changes.
Despatch and Delivery
Nova Chocolates are all handmade to order so please allow time for your order to be made and despatched when you decide to place an order. We endeavour to despatch all orders within 7 days. During busy periods (Christmas and Easter) orders may take up to 14 days to despatch.
All orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st class post or Royal Mail Airmail. This service does not need to be signed for by the recipient. Nova Chocolates cannot be held responsible for delays in the postal system that are beyond our control.
We accept no liability if the recipient is not available to receive the delivery and if they fail to collect it from the Royal Mail Sorting Office within the the time specified by the Royal Mail.
Please note, we do not despatch goods on a Saturday or Sunday.
Please note, we cannot despatch goods to a PO Box address.
Incorrect Delivery Information
It is the purchasers responsibility to offer to provide the correct address, post code and delivery information. Nova Chocolates will not accept responsibility for any problems caused by the purchaser providing incorrect or incomplete delivery details.
Chocolates can be damaged by extremely hot or exceptionally cold temperatures. We do not recommend that you order chocolates during a heat wave or in severe cold spells. If extreme weather occurs once you have placed your order we will contact you by phone or email to arrange a different delivery date or to arrange the cancellation of your order if you prefer. We also do not recommend that you order chocolates to be sent to a hot country. If you do insist on having chocolates delivered under any of the weather conditions listed above we cannot accept responsibility for any spoilage.
Substitution of Items
In the unlikely event that we run out of stock or that an item is discontinued we will not substitute another item without your permission. You will be contacted by phone or email to be offered the chance to select another item or to cancel your order.
Please contact us immediately if you receive the wrong items, your items are defective or if they have been damaged in transit. We will do our best to sort out any problems and to replace or fully refund unsatisfactory goods.
please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order. Chocolates are perishable goods so unfortunately we cannot accept items that are returned after 10 days.
If you have a complaint about an item you can contact Nova Chocolates by phone or email. The item must then be returned to Nova Chocolates with the original packaging. No refund can be made without the return of the goods. Once a complaint has been deemed genuine the item will be refunded or replaced (your choice) and your postage costs for returning the item will also be refunded.
However, Nova Chocolates has the right to refuse refunds and take legal action if we believe that the item has been damaged by the purchaser, or if we suspect any attempts to make a fraudulent claim.
